Clover Health a technology company dedicated to advancing health equity for America’s neglected seniors announced that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved the firm’s service area extends to include 101 more counties. Clover’s Medicare Advantage (MA) plans will be offered to eligible consumers in 101 new counties across Georgia, New Jersey, South Carolina, Texas, and Alabama – a new state for the company – as of January 1, 2022, thanks to this approved service area extension. Clover’s expansion represents the company’s first foray into Alabama and nearly doubles its geographic footprint in terms of counties served.
