Montage Health and Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare, both based in California, have formed a commercial health plan with Blue Shield of California. The package, dubbed Trio, offers members savings as well as access to over 400 local suppliers. In 2013, the two companies worked on Aspire, a Medicare plan. The trio will begin providing coverage on January 1, 2022. “While the partnership is strategic from a business standpoint, this collaboration is ultimately designed to deliver better care to the community,” said Allen Radner, MD, Chief Medical Officer at SVMHS. “We are focused on keeping people healthy and that is a vision shared by both organizations.”
