Kaiser Permanente has become the fourth organizing member of Graphite Health, a digital health firm run by a chain of leading hospitals to stimulate integration of health record systems. Kaiser Permanente Chair and CEO Greg A. Epic’s Cosmos now has records of 120m patients
Phil Lindemann, Epic’s vice president of business intelligence and analytics, said that Cosmos now has records of 120 million patients. Lindemann said 800 hospitals and 10,000 clinics have data in Cosmos. Lindemann said when you visit a doctor, some of his decisions about treatment will reflect lack of evidence and might be based on his education or personal experience. Therefore, the main aim of Cosmos, Lindemann said, is to empower a physician with an extensive health record for long-term outcomes.

Bright Health now boasts of over 1m members
Updating its 2022 AEP/OEP Membership forecast, Bright Health Group, Inc. has said it has now over 1 million members across its Commercial and Medicare health plans. This inflated forecast is due to its growth in Florida, Texas, and North Carolina during open registration. Mike Mikan, president and CEO, said, “We continue to demonstrate our ability to drive scale within our differentiated model and are now well-positioned to realize the full potential of the Bright Health Group strategy.”
