September’s big executive shakeups include new plan CEO and COO for Centene and Cigna subsidiaries respectively, along with a host of executive changes at Cigna, Anthem and AmeriHealth Caritas.
Cigna saw the busiest executive movements. The company is restructuring its leadership across platforms, including a new president for subsidiary Evernorth. It also designed a new role of first executive vice-president of operations to promote operational effectiveness.
The BCBS Association gained a new vice-president of communication, who brings to the table years of experience of serving in the White House, US Chamber of Commerce, and the retail sector.
Another big player Anthem also has a new senior team member, with experience in serving public health, to lead the insurer’s Ohio Medicaid effort.
