Michael McGrath, M.D., has been designated Behavioral Health Medical Director at Ohana Health Plan, the company announced today. Dr. McGrath will report to Sherie Smalley, M.D., the Chief Medical Officer of ‘Ohana Health Plan. Dr. McGrath’s responsibilities include overseeing Community Care Services (CCS), a service run by the plan in collaboration with the Hawaii Department of Human Services’ Med-QUEST Division. He is the founder, medical director, and president of Recovery Enhanced Medicine Institute, a multi-modal intensive outpatient clinic for those suffering from opioid addiction.” Dr. McGrath is a highly accomplished physician leader with more than 25 years of behavioral healthcare experience,” said Dr. Smalley. “His leadership will be critical as we continue to deliver high-quality behavioral healthcare services to those populations most in need across Hawaii.”
