MVP Health Care and BioReference Laboratories, Inc., an OPKO Health company, have announced a partnership to provide medically necessary COVID-19 testing, bloodwork, and other diagnostic tests to MVP members in the comfort of their own homes. MVP is the first insurer in New York and Vermont to provide this service, and it is doing so through Scarlet Health, BioReference’s seamlessly integrated digital platform that collects specimens for laboratory diagnostic services performed by a Scarlet Health professional in a patient’s home or office.
