Humana has assigned two high-ranking executives to grow the Medicare Advantage market in Florida. Caraline Coats, a 14-year veteran, has been named as the payer’s South Florida Medicare market lead. Humana also named Steven Ruiz, the CEO of CarePlus Health Plans, as the president of Medicare in Central and North Florida. Both positions report to Alan Stewart, Humana Senior Vice President and Southeast Division Leader, and started this month.
