Eleos Health, a business that gathers behavioral health information using AI-backed voice technologies, has received $6 million in seed funding. Lool Ventures, Arkin Holdings, Geingels, and individual investors joined the round, which was led by aMoon Fund. The funding news comes on the heels of Dr. David Shulkin, the former Secretary of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, joining the company’s board of directors. “Eleos is innovating by leveraging unstructured, de-identified voice data, together with standardized EMR data to deliver a solution that was built with the clinician’s workflow in mind, and demonstrate real-world results,” said Dr. David Shulkin.
