The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has given Clover Health permission to expand its service area to 101 new counties. Clover’s Medicare Advantage plans will be accessible to eligible clients in 101 new counties across Georgia, New Jersey, South Carolina, Texas, and Alabama – a new state for the company – as of January 1, 2022, thanks to this approved service area extension. Clover’s programs will now be available to seniors in rural communities, who are more prone to encounter health inequities than those in more metropolitan settings.
