Cerner reported $1.46 billion in revenue and $175.8 million in net profitability for the third quarter of 2021, according to the Kansas City, Mo.-based EHR provider. Cerner’s third-quarter revenue increased by 7% from $1.37 billion in the third quarter of 2020. The EHR company’s net earnings were $175.8 million, down 50.7 percent from $356.7 million in the same period last year. Cerner forecasts fourth-quarter revenue to climb in the upper-mid single digits compared to fourth-quarter sales in 2020, bringing full-year revenue growth to around 5%.
