Former Aetna CEO Mark Bertolini has been chosen co-CEO of Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund. Mr. Bertolini served as CEO and chair of Aetna from 2010 until its acquisition by CVS Health in 2018. Following the transaction, he served on the CVS Health board of directors before being let go in 2020. Bridgewater chose Mr. Bertolini to run the hedge fund because of his leadership during the CVS Health and Aetna acquisitions.
